The Hatchgate Inn is a XV1th century inn with lots of character, oak beams and a large open fire with original artefacts. It is essentially a pub for families with a large garden and play area for younger children

You are always assured a warm welcome and hopefully will enjoy the full range of home cooked food using the freshest produce available.

There is accommodation available in the form of two double rooms which have been converted from a stable block.

There are two separate areas within the pub, the “Sports” bar, where simple food is served and the restaurant area with its own bar and large original open fire. The restaurant has its own area or you can eat within the bar itself. All food is freshly prepared.

A comprehensive wine list is available with wines that you can enjoy with your food. There is also a “Specials board “ which is changed regularly. In the following pages you will find a list of our menus plus a Christmas menu which runs from 1st December til 23 rd December.

We cater for functions and barbecues for up to 100 people.
