The Hatchgate Inn is a XV1th century Inn with lots of character, oak beams and a large open inglenook fireplace with original artefacts. It is a pub that welcomes everybody, with a large garden, ample parking and an enclosed play area for younger children. For sports fans we have Sky TV in the Sports Bar (we are a member of the London Irish Supporters Club).

You are always assured a warm welcome and hopefully will enjoy the full range of home cooked food using the freshest local produce available. Everything we serve is cooked to order. For our Senior Citizens we have a special menu.

There is accommodation available in the form of two double rooms which have been converted from a stable block.

There are three separate areas within the Inn, a Restaurant for fine dining, an area within the bar with the same quality of food in a less formal setting and a sports bar for enjoying a game of darts or watching TV and some hot or cold simpler fare.

A comprehensive wine list is available to suit all tastes and budgets to compliment the various menus. There is also a “Specials Board“ which is changed regularly. On this web site you will find a list of our menus including a Christmas menu which is available from 30th November until the 25th December.

We cater for functions and barbecues for up to 100 people.
